At 5-7 Rue de Bastille, opposite the Bastille Opera House is the perfect finale after an evening at the opera. You have a choice to make for your surroundings though when you enter the Bofinger. Downstairs will give you the nicest of surroundings, but upstairs is air conditioned for a little more comfort. I guess your choice could depend on the weather? The food here is fine, as it is at all Flo group restaurants. The best bet is probably to go for the brasserie meal of oysters and fillet steak washed down with a suitable wine. However, that’s not to say that the salmon, cod steak or calf’s liver should be overlooked. You won’t be breaking the bank to eat here either with an average meal costing somewhere in the region of 24.50 Euros for the main course.
